Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

With the flu season approaching, I am curious about the healthcare measures available for preventing and managing influenza. Can you provide insights into the recommended healthcare strategies, including vaccinations and other preventive measures, to minimize the risk of contracting influenza? Additionally, what steps should one take if they suspect they have the flu, and are there specific considerations for high-risk individuals? I want to be well informed and prepared for the upcoming flu season.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com

Thank you for writing and I understand your concern.

Influenza is not common nowadays. But if you want to take precautionary measures then, I would suggest you avoid crowded areas. Wear masks while going out and avoid meeting with people who have cough-caused or fever-like symptoms. If you visit then you can cover your face with the mask.

Take a high protein diet such as almonds, green, vegetables, fruits, soups, and eggs. All these things will provide you immunity you will be safe. Influenza is not common because of the vaccine. Everyone got a vaccine in their childhood, and nowadays it is not there at all. If still you are scared then take the measures I suggested above.

I hope this helps you. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
