Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My excessive anger, sadness about tiny things, abuse while angry, and breaking objects are bothering me. Kindly help.

Answered by Dr. Aditya Gupta

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

First and foremost, refrain from acting out during angry outbursts. When irritated, reverse count from 20 to 0 or deep breathe from your diaphragm. After you have calmed down, write about the incident and your thoughts. In addition, keep a notebook of your everyday ideas. Weekly, review them, assign incorrect ones to logic, and strive to fix them. Stress management is also necessary. Meditation for at least 30 minutes in the morning helps you relax and focus. Aerobic workouts for at least half an hour every day are beneficial. Share your feelings with family or close friends since sharing is helpful. If you enjoy music, it might also assist. Some music has been discovered to be highly beneficial. If none of these strategies work, see a psychiatrist in person for a thorough examination and, if necessary, therapy. Remember that every problem has a solution; all you have to do is try to solve it, and help is only a step away. If you have any additional questions, please ask.

I hope I have answered your question.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards.
