Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I suffer from anger issues. I have been behaving violently with my parents. And I have a huge ego. I overthink a lot and I am under continuous stress for a couple of days. I feel like I want to cry and talk to someone who can understand and guide me to a better life. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern. First of all, work to prevent yourself from acting out during anger episodes. Whenever you feel like getting angry either do reverse counting from 20 to zero or breathe deeply from your diaphragm. After calming down a little give hard logic to yourself if this is going to help. Meditating daily for at least half an hour in the morning helps. You can also go for mindfulness. Share your feelings with family or close friends as sharing helps a lot. In my opinion, a detailed evaluation is needed to find the root cause of the problem and a proper solution can then be planned accordingly. Kindly consult a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist in person for the same. Remember every problem has a solution you just need to try solving it and help is just a step away. Feel free to ask if you have any further queries.

Thank you.
