Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My foreskin has swollen, a little irritated, and itchy. I have a history of immune system-related problems and disorders.

What is wrong? What shall I do?

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for writing, and I understand your concern.

This can be due to infection, infection such as candida, so there is nothing to worry it will be fine. I suggest you apply ointment Clotrimazole twice on it. Take tablet Levocetirizine 10 milligrams once before sleeping. Take this treatment for three days.

Please tell me, since when do you have this swelling?

  1. Are you able to pull back the foreskin?
  2. Are there any difficulties in passing urine?
  3. Can you attach pictures of it?
  4. I will check and prescribe additional medicine if required.

    1. The Probable cause is infection.
    2. The differential diagnosis is phimosis.
    3. Probable diagnosis of swelling on the foreskin.
    4. Preventive measures maintain general hygiene.
    5. Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for your response. Please elaborate on my condition.

Thank you.

Answered by Dr. Sugreev Singh

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Phimosis is a condition where fluid gets accumulates in the foreskin, so it has to be reduced by a needle. Needle pricking is done in a circular manner. Then it has to be pressed hard so the fluid will go and pull the foreskin downward.

You can go to a nearby doctor or do it at home.

Thank you.
