I feel tightness in my penis with discoloration of penile head. Kindly help.

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have tightness in my penis, along with some discoloration on the penis head. I get wound sometimes. Also, I do not have the habit of masturbation, but there is some difference when I tried to check the changes. And the shape and size vary all the time.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

From the history, it seems you have developed lichen sclerosis et atrophicus. In this condition, discoloration and tightness occur. Since when do you have this issue? Is it spreading? I need to see the discoloration so that I can assess. Please revert with a photo so I can provide you a definitive diagnosis and suggest treatment accordingly.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

It is happening for the past few months, and it is not spreading. I do not know whether the picture is clear. I can take a video consultation if needed.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Thanks for sharing the photo (attachment removed to protect patient identity). Tightness or abnormal discoloration is not applicable except for the slight whitish color. I would suggest you take a urologist appointment for this and changing shape and tightness. He will be able to help you in a better way. As there are no depigmented white areas, making a lichen sclerosis diagnosis is difficult without personal examination. Apply Tacroz (Tacrolimus) cream 0.03 % at night in a small quantity on the white area for one month.
