Hello doctor,
I am a 32-year-old male. There is a huge problem regarding my sex drive. I have not found the root cause till now. I used to masturbate since I was 15 years, but from the last six months, I watch pornography daily and masturbate once in two or three days. I usually masturbate by rubbing hard on bed. I am confused whether my low drive is related to stress, excess masturbation, porn, or other hormonal imbalance. I am going to get married and that is why I am worried. I tried safe sex with a sex worker previous month, but could not enjoy because of low sex-drive. Could you tell me the reason and remedies for the same? Please help.

Masturbation is normal. It does not cause physical problems or sexual problems. Also, do not give any importance to the advertisement that mentions that masturbation cause health problems or destroys life, and masturbation does not require any treatment. Your problem can be due to stress, anxiety or due to a physical cause. For physical cause, you need to do blood tests Hb (hemoglobin), TC (total count), fasting sugar, prolactin, TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone), testosterone. Please upload the reports.
