Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com. It appears that you may be experiencing iron deficiency anemia or a hemolytic process, along with low platelet levels. To address the iron deficiency anemia, I recommend undergoing an iron profile, lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), hemoglobin, and electrophoresis tests. It would be prudent to consult a specialist doctor and obtain their consent before initiating treatment. I suggest taking 325 mg of iron three times a day for six weeks, followed by a repeat complete blood count (CBC). Additionally, it is important to consider if you have ever had a colonoscopy, a history of daily alcohol consumption, or if you have been screened for hepatitis B or C. Regarding the low platelet count, it would be beneficial to undergo liver and kidney function tests, as well as an abdominal ultrasound to assess the size of the spleen. I recommend completing these investigations before starting iron supplementation.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
