Hello doctor,
I am 24 years old. I am having irregular periods. I got my period after 3 months and I am bleeding for the past 25 days. I went for a full check-up and they said I do not have any PCOD or PCOS issues but they said my blood count is very low. I am bleeding for the past 25 days and the flow was a bit high. I have also used Lysteda tablets but it did not stop.
Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
I suggest you do CBC (complete blood count) and if platelets or WBC are low then get yourself admitted and start platelets, fresh frozen plasma (FFP), and other injection treatments. You can take the Tranexid M (Tranexamic Acid and Mefenamic Acid) tablet thrice daily to stop bleeding. You can consult a specialist doctor and take medications with their consent. Also, get a detailed hormonal level examination and an ultrasound lower abdomen again to rule out PCOD (polycystic ovarian disease).
Thank you.
