Hello doctor,
I got married last month and my wife did not get her period yet. We had sex with protection but she is feeling pain in her stomach which is like period pains from the past week and sometimes she has leg pain also. We are very tensed about pregnancy. Yesterday we had a pregnancy test and it was negative so what should we do now? We are not ready to become parents yet.

I understand your concern, sometimes periods might get delayed by one or two weeks because of stress or recent illness. The symptoms she is experiencing could be premenstrual symptoms. So do not worry, wait for two weeks if periods do not occur then get a urine pregnancy test done for clear results.
