Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I had tested with five different manufacturers of HIV rapid kits at home after three to four sexual exposures. Is this test conclusive, accurate, and reliable? Do I need to test more? Am I negative for HIV 100 %? Present symptoms include pain in the body, weakness, palpitations, and continued burning sensation in different body parts shifted from one place to another. I have got checked vitamin B12 and vitamin D3. Both are normal. I am not suffering from diabetes. Why am I having these neuropathy-like symptoms?

Thanks.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Regarding your symptoms and several HIV tests done that showed negative results. You are not infected. You have developed an acute panic attack and a generalized anxiety disorder. Please take the following:

  1. Tablet Escitalopram 10 mg orally once a day.
  2. Tablet Mirtazapine 15 mg orally once a day.
  3. I suggest you consult a specialist, talk with them, and take the medications with their consent. If your symptoms persist, schedule another follow-up appointment via chat, phone, or video consultation.

I hope this information will help you.

    Thanks.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
