Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 30-year-old female. Over the past week, I have been dealing with a combination of symptoms, including a persistent cough, nasal congestion, and occasional sneezing. I have also been experiencing a sore throat accompanied by mild fatigue. While I have not experienced a high fever, I have felt generally unwell and fatigued, which has impacted my daily routine. I would greatly appreciate your guidance on the best course of action. Also, I am curious about potential treatments or medications that could effectively address the symptoms and aid in a speedier recovery. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your query and would like to guide you in your query.

Based on your symptoms, it could be pharyngitis, most likely a viral etiology. I suggest you follow the below-mentioned instructions:

1. Take antiallergic medication, one tablet before bedtime.

2. Take antipyretics like tablet Paracetamol two or three times a day.

3. Do a lukewarm water gargle with a pinch of salt in it three times a day.

4. Eat fresh and warm home-made cooked foods.

5. Avoid cold food or water.

6. Take ginger tea if you prefer to drink tea.

I hope this has helped you. Please follow up to discuss further about it.

Thanks.
