Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been unable to achieve an orgasm lately. It started disappearing midway during sex with my husband. Now I just cannot get one at all. I have not been able to self-pleasure in years, and I have never been able to get an orgasm via oral sex. I have always had great sex with my husband, and we have been together for over nine years. I do not know what is going on. I am looking for some insight into my problem. I am not on any medication for any condition.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You are probably suffering from female orgasmic disorder (FOD). Substance use can cause FOD. Certain medical conditions can also result in female sexual dysfunctions. Kindly get a blood panel done to rule out an organic cause. I suggest you Follicle stimulating hormone(FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), serum prolactin, estradiol level, complete blood count (CBC). Various treatment modalities are available like sensate focus therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, etc. You can visit a therapist regarding the same. Hope this solves your query. Feel free to ask, if you need further clarifications. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
