Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My 35-year-old friend has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. I wish to help him in some way, and I want to know about this disease and are there any natural ways to cure this disease? Also, what are the top three tips for caring for someone with Parkinson's disease?

Hello,

Welcome to iCliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern. Parkinson's disease is quite unusual at 35 years of age, so a workup is needed. Can you please answer a few of my questions for a better understanding?

1) What are the symptoms?

2) Is he having tremors predominantly or more of rigidity?

3) Does the symptoms resolve while taking the tablet Levodopa?

4) Has he consulted a neurologist, and were any tests done?

If he has Parkinson's disease, the cells producing dopamine are less. So, tablet Levodopa is given to increase dopamine levels.

I hope this will be helpful.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
