Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had a soar at the tip of my penis and the side of my penis where the skin is joined. This pain started in the last two days after my partner gave me a handjob. At that time, my penis was fully dry, and we did not use any lubricant during the handjob. Please guide me on what to do. Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your query and understand your concern. From the attached images (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity), the tip of the penis looks somewhat inflamed. There is a reddish discoloration on the tip of the penile opening. It could be an infection. Is there any difficulty and pain during micturition? Any low-grade fever? Any recent sexual exposure? Any history of chronic diabetes? Have you done any routine urine examination tests? Please reply to the above questions and add detail if any other medical history is available to guide you better. Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for your response. No pain during micturition. No fever of any type. No history of any diabetes. I have not done any routine examination of urine. Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Your reply to my questions does not hint at a urinary tract infection. Since there was no sexual exposure with your partner, there is nothing to worry about. It may be due to the stretch of the tip of the penile skin without the use of lubricant. If you get any of the above symptoms, do a urine routine and microscopy test before taking antibiotics. You can take the tablet Acenac-P (Aceclofenac and Paracetamol) two times daily for mild soreness for three days. Wash the tip of the penile opening with soap and water. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
