Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have a small cyst on my penis. Can you tell me what these little bumps are? They have been present for the last two weeks. I also have little pain. I try to crush it like a pimple, but it is impossible. It is inside the skin, like a ball.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

Please share a picture of the affected area.

If there was unprotected sex, then we need to think of sexually transmitted infections (STI). The following investigations can help,

1) Treponema Pallidum Hemagglutination (TPHA).

2) Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV) one and two IgG.

3) Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV) one and two IgM serums.

4) Chlamydia Trachomatis IgG.

5) HIV (Human immunodeficiency virus) one and two antibodies screening tests.

6) HbsAg.

If all tests are negative, it can be a simple bacterial infection.

Then I suggest,

1) Ointment T Bact (Mupirocin) for local application and doxy (Doxycycline) 100 mg twice a day for five days.

If there is itching, you need to consider a fungal infection. In case of fungal infections, I suggest,

1) Ointment Candid B (Beclometasone and Clotrimazole) for local application.

2) For itching, Tablet Cetzine (Cetrizine) once a night.

Ensure you wash your genitals twice daily in the morning and night and use normal, clean water. Do not use harsh soaps for cleaning.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
