Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
My current concern is with a change in the skin color of my penis. I have observed a whitening effect on both the shaft and the skin underneath it. This change has been present for a significant period and seems to be progressing. Previously, I experienced a skin rupture in the area where the skin joins the shaft, which caused pain, especially during erections or intercourse.
However, I am currently not experiencing pain, itching, or any other related symptoms. I would like to understand the underlying causes and appropriate treatment for this condition.
Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and understand your concern.
Based on the information you provided, it seems you might have experienced a condition known as phimosis, which could have led to a rupture during sexual activity. The healing process from such a traumatic event often results in the formation of white fibrotic tissue. If the change in skin color is bothersome to you, I recommend consulting a dermatologist for appropriate treatment. Additionally, if you are still experiencing issues related to phimosis, seeing a urologist could be beneficial. They can perform a procedure to alleviate any pain associated with phimosis during sexual activity.
I hope this information is helpful. Please feel free to follow up if you have any further questions.
Thank you.
