Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have a parasitic infection of pinworms, which affects the side of my lungs, vision, constant vaginal problems, and anal itching. I feel super sick every day. I have had this for years now, and before, it was not severe enough to be detected and still cannot be detected, even though I have images. When I used peroxide in my ears, I had a mark from a parasite coming out in my lobe. I think they are throughout the body, especially in the legs, shoulders, and eyes. I need help and to be prescribed medicine. I am currently taking Reese's pinworm medicine and Ivermectin tablets. Unfortunately, Reese's pinworms do not work. And I have been detoxing for months to no avail. The symptoms started with stomach issues, but the pain later spread to other places with other symptoms such as swelling in the legs and feet, left-side rib distension, constant itching, and feeling exhausted. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

I have reviewed your case history and attached photos (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity). If you have taken medicines, they are generally very effective for parasitic infections. However, we do not prescribe these medications repeatedly until and unless there is good laboratory evidence of worms, like in a stool sample or skin biopsy of the affected area. I have reviewed your symptoms. Still, your symptoms are not explained by just pinworm infection. In a normal female of your age, without any immunocompromised illness or state, it is doubtful that you will have persistent parasitic infections while maintaining proper hygiene.

I would suggest you take your health issues one by one,

1) Eyes or ears issues.

2) Probably IBS (irritable bowel syndrome).

3) Vaginal irritation and anal itching.

4) Lack of energy.

It would be best if you had a proper evaluation for eyes and ears once. Your baseline anxiety and restlessness can cause worsening of your IBS for urogenital issues. It would be best if you had a good physical examination. And for lack of energy, you need to work on your diet and anxiety issues. I could help you out if you could share your stool and blood reports. Wishing you good health.

I hope this helps.

Thank you and take care.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thanks for the reply.

I still find worms in my stool and feel them moving or throbbing in my muscles. What if I do indeed have a deeper parasitic infection? Because I was told that Reese’s pinworm medicine would do the work, but it has not. I went to someone who is an at-home parasite doctor, and he stated it would take months to get rid of them. I have also noticed online that everyone, especially on any answer blog, talks about how tests are all negative and they have no one to help them. I have gone in for my obstetrician-gynecologist and nothing has been found. Only pictures that I supplied showing worms. And I still see and feel them. I am constantly up at night. Is there anything I may not have been prescribed, including a medicine that would cure the brain?

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

I have not found any worms in your stool sample. However, sometimes undigested small food particles mimic worms in appearance too.

If you feel worms moving in your muscles, that is not possible medically in an average healthy person of your age, but yes, your sensation can be true, and for that, you must be on some medications. However, such feelings can be reduced if you calm your brain with some anxiolytic medicine and give time to your body and yourself.

It is difficult to eliminate worms in immunocompromised elderly persons who cannot care for themselves. However, in normal individuals like you, who can take care of their hygiene too, it is not possible that you have persistent infections even after so much care and precautions that you have already taken.

Your obstetrician doctor was unable to find anything, so I guess you should relax a bit, use some anxiolytic medicine, and try to divert your attention. Otherwise, it will continuously affect your quality of life.

You have already used medicine. You can see eosinophil counts on your complete blood profile. This will give you clues as well regarding your cure.

Wishing you excellent health.

I hope this helps.

Thank you and take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
