Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I repeatedly push my penis forward during masturbation. After one particularly vigorous time, the base backside on the right side felt a bit numb. After this, now every time I engage in sexual activity, I have trouble maintaining my erection. In addition, my penis is angling toward the left, flaccid and erect. It did not do that before, and the area on the right side is tender. This has been going on for seven weeks.

I had a physical examination done by a doctor who suggested no apparent scar tissue. Please tell me what you think is the issue. Is this a ligament injury? What should I do?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

The possible causes of your issue are:

1. Frenulum injury, which usually happens in forceful masturbation or dry sex.

I suggest you consult a urologist who can help in diagnosis.

2. Neuropathy, which can be due to increased blood sugar, hypertension, stress, spinal injury, or spinal issue.

Can you please share an erect penis picture for confirmation?

Thank you and take care.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

Is the frenulum at the head or glands of the penis? I was pushing the penis forward repeatedly, causing an injury at the base. That area is still tender. I am also experiencing constant erectile dysfunction and penis angling to the left, erect and flaccid. Both of these were not happening before this injury. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

Yes, it is just below the head of the penis. The area that you say is the frenulum.

Due to pain, you can have an erection issue. However, a mildly bent penis is not an issue.

I suggest you apply Mupirocin ointment for now. However, please consult a specialist doctor, discuss with them and start taking the medications with their consent.

I hope this helps.

Thank you and take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
