Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am asking questions for my wife. I am thirty years old and my wife is twenty-six years old. We are planning for a baby and she missed her period this month. She got her last period before a month and she expected her period last week. We bought a pregnancy kit yesterday and tested it in the evening. It came negative. Please advise us. She feels tired and has back pain around the hip. She also has mild pain at the bottom of the stomach only in the evening time. usually, she gets periods on time and there will be a difference of one day. Could please advise us what is the issue and when is the correct day for taking a pregnancy test? Should we need to consult a doctor?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I fully understand your concern and will surely help you. I congratulate you for having a great plan for extending your family. I request you take a urine pregnancy test with the first urine of the day for having accurate results. Do not drink too much fluid before doing the test. Adhere to all the guidelines written on the package of the pregnancy test kit. I request you to share the pregnancy test results for having further management regarding your menstrual health and pregnancy. It is good to take folic acid and multivitamins for getting pregnant. Calculate the ovulation pattern according to the menstrual pattern and have alternate day intercourse. If you are already pregnant, take a balanced diet, adopt a healthy lifestyle so that you can have a healthy and happy pregnancy. Feel free to ask any questions. Do not worry. God bless you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
