Progesterone Withdrawal

Progesterone is a female hormone, which helps maintain the uterine lining for implantation of a fertilized egg. When pills containing synthetic forms of progesterone are stopped, it causes many withdrawal symptoms. Some of the common symptoms are uterine bleeding or spotting, anxiety, emotional stress, and frequent bowel movement.
