Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I am 52 years old. During my general health checkup, in the report of US abdomen, I noticed that tiny midline prostatic cyst likely utricle cyst, measuring 0.2 x 0.2 inch. Please inform me the impact of the cyst and the medication for the cure.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Your age is 52, and I assume that you have finished your family. At your age, if you do not have any symptoms like pain on ejaculation or fever or urine infections, then nothing is required. We do treatment in a young patient who could not conceive because of cyst or for recurrent infections or pain. If you are asymptomatic, then you do not require anything at present. If you want surgery, then it can be removed transurethrally by endoscopy. There will be no cuts.
