Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have a boyfriend, but someone else is also loving and caring me, even after knowing about my relation. I could not resist his affection towards me, because he is sensitive. He is planning something big for my birthday and I resisted to stay with him on this day as I felt that this guilt may last for my entire life by accepting his date night proposal. This secret guy being so sensitive and it is me into getting depression. I have no idea how to deal with this situation. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through the description of your problem in detail. Your friend is facing a lot of stress as he is secretly into high degree of emotional relationship with you. My suggestion would be to confront him openly. Then you both should meet a counselor and follow what the counselor might suggest. I hope this gives you a little clarity of what you could do to help him. I hope this helps.

Thank you.
