Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

About a month ago my nipples started itching out of nowhere (I am not pregnant or had any sexual contact) and itched especially when I was going to bed I scratched them and the skin peeled off and it hurts a lot and a little bit of liquid started coming out of the skin and stick into my bra and sometimes even coming through it to my shirt. I went to see a doctor and she prescribed me antibiotics for Impetigo and ointment to put on them. So the itching pretty much stopped but after the ointment and antibiotics were done it started again. My nipples started to crust and when I shower, it all comes out and it feels smooth but after a day or so it crusts again like there were 10 layers of skin on my nipple area.

I have taken Kefexin 500 mg for a week and Fusidic Acid Orifarm 20 mg/g for a week too and applied it directly to the nipple area

With this, I am having even more skin problems like itchiness all over my skin (armpits, upper arms, lower arms, my back, my thighs) and my face has been reacting badly to all the skincare I use which has always been amazing and felt refreshing to use but now they have been burning and especially my chin itches all the time. My back has been full of pimples and spots too. I have also got a new face cleanser, new shampoo and conditioner, and new body wash but all my family says the new products are amazing and do not hurt at all. Kindly help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

It seems to be ringworm associated with allergy and deficiency of vitamins and minerals. I suggest you follow the below-mentioned instructions.

  1. Maintain good hygiene.
  2. Take nutritious foods regularly.
  3. Do some relaxation exercises regularly.
  4. Use moisturized soap regularly.
  5. Apply good quality moisturizer regularly.
  6. Take a tablet of Bilastine (Bilastine) 20 mg once daily.
  7. Take a capsule of Itraconazole 200 mg once daily.
  8. Take a multivitamin tablet every day.
  9. Apply Candid total plus (Clobetasol) cream twice a day. Follow all the medication for seven days.

I hope this information will help you.

Thank you.
