Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 63-year-old male who has had small open lesions dotting the body on both legs, arms, abdomen, and chest for the past two months. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. I would suggest the following. Use Fucibet (Fusidic acid and Betamethasone) cream twice daily for seven days (on lesions). Use Permethrin 5 percent cream at night on days one and seven (contact period eight to 12 hours). Use Permite BB (Permethrin) bar soap for bathing for one month. Avoid scratching and rubbing lesions. Maintain proper hygiene. Wash clothes in hot water and iron clothes. Avoid sharing personal belongings. Take Tablet Zentel (Albendazole) 400 mg one time. Follow up after seven days. Kindly revert for more queries. Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for your reply. What could be the reason for these lesions? The lesions are not healing too. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

It appears to be a hypersensitivity reaction (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity) to itch mite antigens (scabies). It can be transmitted through clothing, linen, furniture, towels, or close personal contact. I would suggest Tablet Teczine M (Levocetirizine and Montelukast) once at night after food for seven days. I hope this helps. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
