I would like to know my fertility status. Please interpret my semen analysis report.

I had a semen analysis done to check for any fertility issues and was told there were abnormalities and my regular doctor referred me to a urologist but they do not have any appointments for three months. I just need to understand the results better. Will I be able to get my wife pregnant now or will I need medicines?

My lab test shows:

Abstinence period 2.5 days.

Semen volume 3.0 ml.

Semen appearance: normal semen motile.

Acrosome defect - 21.0 %.

Head shape abnormal - 20.5 %.

Head size abnormal - 0.5 %.

I went through the semen analysis test and I found your sperm count and concentration is normal therefore you should not worry your side is clear. I prefer your wife to get checked by a gynecologist just to make sure both partners are well. And other things need to follow is know the timing when to have sex in which the fertility chances increase which is day 7 to day 21 of the menstrual cycle. And the most effective is on day 14 of the menstrual cycle but you will need to make sure that your wife cycle is regular 28-30 days and check your wife with a gynecologist. We usually do also more than one semen analysis test to confirm so I need one more semen analysis then see you on follow up as per your convenience.
