Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I am a 27-year-old male doctor. I am moderately obese, but I do weight losing activities like gym and yoga. I can maintain an erection during masturbation but not during sex with my wife. There was no problem two months ago, but now I am having this issue. I used to masturbate three times a day, then gradually, my libido decreased, and I am having this problem during erection. It is also making me more anxious and depressed. Now I have reduced my masturbation, but the condition is not improving. What to do now? Will this problem be permanent?
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
The cause of erection problems are many, including medical conditions like diabetes, hypertension, thyroid hormones or testosterone, and prolactin disturbance. So, get these investigations done to rule out these conditions.
Secondly, psychological problems such as depression, anxiety, and stress itself can cause it.
Do regular exercise.
Avoid alcohol and smoking.
For the time being, I suggest health supplements like L-arginine; these are pro-sexual supplements. I also suggest tablet Sildenafil or tablet Tadalafil, if needed.
I hope this helps you.
Thanks and regards.
Patient's Query
Thank you doctor,
I have no addiction and comorbidity. Then what I have to do? Does tablet L-arginine work?
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
If you have done the above tests and are normal, do exercise daily, like brisk walking for 40 minutes.
I suggest tablet L-arginine as it can give some benefits.
Thanks and regards.
