Patient's Query

I am a 28-year-old female and have low libido.

Kindly help.

Answered by Dr. Raveendran S R

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

I can understand your concern. Low libido has the following reasons.

  1. It can be due to a urine infection. You can do a urine complete and an ultrasound of the pelvis to diagnose the cause.
  2. Make sure blood pressure and blood sugar are under control. Are you on medication?
  3. In case of low testosterone, low levels of thyroid, and high levels of prolactin. Check for TFT, prolactin, and testosterone.
  4. Plan for regular exercise and yoga.
  5. Check for lipid profile and plan for regular exercise.
  6. Chronic disease or on any chronic medication.
  7. Anxiety can also cause libido issues.
  8. Take tablet Mildfil 5 mg twice a day as a temporary solution.

Kindly consult a specialist, talk to them, and take medications with their consent.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
