Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

The doctor has prescribed Ademetionine tablets (Heptral) to one of my friends. Can I also give her a thistle milk supplement along with this? Please note that she has high levels of SGPT and SGOT. Kindly suggest.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I am here to help you with your health queries.

I read about your concern in detail. You should consult your surgeon first. Monitoring the levels of serum glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase (SGOT) and serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase (SGPT) is most important. Please try to avoid milk supplements.

I hope this helps. Do get back if you have any further queries.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
