Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 46-years-old female. I have been suffering from left shoulder and shoulder blade pain that comes and goes for at least two months. This pain is accompanied by left arm numbness (tingling) and cough that worsens at night.

Hi,

Glad to hear from you.

I am here to answer all your questions.

Given the symptoms you have described, it is important that you see a doctor as soon as possible. The combination of left shoulder and shoulder blade pain, left arm numbness, and cough that worsens at night can be indicative of several potential health issues. The left-sided pain and numbness could be related to nerve compression or inflammation, which may require further examination and testing. The cough that worsens at night could also be indicative of an underlying respiratory issue or infection. I recommend that you schedule an appointment with your primary care doctor or a specialist to discuss your symptoms and undergo any necessary testing. In the meantime, try to avoid activities that exacerbate your symptoms and consider using a heating pad or ice pack to alleviate pain. It is also important to quit smoking if you are a smoker, as this could contribute to your symptoms. Please keep me updated on your progress and feel free to ask any further questions.

I am thankful that you have confidence in me to help you.

Please stay safe and healthy. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
