Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I want to ask about my current illness. I am experiencing a sudden itching all over my body for the past two weeks, which resulted in rashes and then became a wound. Even my scrotum and penis have got rashes although I have not scratched them. But the head of the penis is not itchy as compared to other parts of the body. I do not have any allergies and have not consulted the doctor. Please help me.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. The information you have provided depicts as you are suffering from any of the listed possible causes:

  1. Scabies.
  2. Papular eczema.
  3. Allergic contact dermatitis.

It is quite difficult to diagnose and suggest anything without seeing the picture. Try to provide a clear picture of skin rash in daylight. I would also request to answer a few questions in your case, which can be more helpful to diagnose it well.

  1. Do you have more itching during nighttime?
  2. Is there anyone in the family having a similar rash?
  3. Do you have itchy bumps in the hands, armpits, or around your belly button?

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
