Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I visited a spa four years back, and after that massage, they offered a special service, and I have taken it. We both were nude, and the masseuse gave me a blowjob, rubbing our parts against each other. After a month, I was feeling itchy above my penis as there were two pimples, and when I consulted the doctor, he said it was molluscum and had to be removed; he removed it, and after that, I started reading blogs on the internet and got to know its STD (Sexually Transmitted Diseases), so I have taken an STD panel on six weeks after the incident where all STD like HIV1/2 and p24 VDRL(Venereal Disease Research Laboratory)-THPA (Treponema pallidum hemagglutination assay) were negative. Still, Herpes was equivocal and was suggested for retest after 10 days again. Then I only got Herpes tested, which was the 8th week, and the reports were completely negative. So again, after 12 weeks, I went for the STD panel, where all the reports were adverse, and all tests were based on ELISA (Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay). Again tests like HIV VDRL were harmful based on ELISA, but Chlamydia came as positive, and the test method was PCR. So again, I have gone for Chlamydia IgG and IgM, which came out negative. My concern is whether I am exposed to any STD or have a chance of being exposed to HIV. I only had discharge twice last, and after that, to date, no discharge. My throat pains, and sometimes I have pain while and after urine, but it is like once a week. My penis pains after masturbating, and pain also in my testicles. I consulted a urologist and he said to take Doxt-SL for two tablet for five days and I started it yesterday. Can it be due to stress and overthinking? Do you suggest any other test? I got married a few days ago, and it is disturbing my personal and professional life as I cannot concentrate. Please suggest some solution.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq. com.

I am not able to view any of the attachments. You require a repeat test for Herpes simplex virus 1 and 2 IgM (immunoglobulin M) and IgG (immunoglobulin G). Molluscum contagiosum, herpes, and chlamydia are sexually transmitted infections (STIs). If there is the presence of any other STI increases the risk of acquisition of HIV (human immunodeficiency virus). I also suggest getting tested for Gonorrhoea, Hepatitis B, and C infection. Please continue with your medicines as advised for at least seven days. Stress could be the reason for your symptoms as well.

Regards.
