Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have been experiencing heartbeats in my right chest for the past three days. It is not continuous but occurs sometimes. I have been mostly busy with work. My blood pressure was 116/77 mmHg. Three months ago, I was diagnosed with vitamin B12 and D deficiencies. My levels have improved, but now my blood pressure is 140/80 mmHg due to increased stress at work. I have started walking every morning, but I still feel the heartbeats in my right chest. I think it might be due to stress. How can I get rid of it?
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
You are hearing your heartbeats on the right side. You can get a chest X-ray (posterior-anterior view) to check the position of your heart. You are experiencing stress, and most of your symptoms appear to be related to it. I have reviewed your reports (attachments removed to protect the patient’s identity), and everything seems fine. It is important to manage your stress. Try doing breathing exercises for five minutes, twice daily. Consider attending a yoga class. These activities can help you control your stress. Also, make good friends with whom you can share your problems. Take a break from work, go to the hills or a beach, and spend quality time with your family.
I hope this helps you.
Thank you.
