Why does the crotch bump recur in the same spot at age 20?

Hi doctor,

I am a 20-year-old female who weighs 224 lbs, and I am 5.4 feet tall. I have what looks like a pimple on my crotch. It keeps coming back in the same spot and produces white pus and a lot of blood. Is there a chance I have an STI (sexually transmitted infection)? I have had it since before I became sexually active. I always use a condom. I have attached a photo of the pimple.

Shaving or wearing tight clothes that rub the skin can irritate the follicles, leading to folliculitis. Most likely, this occurs when the improperly cleaned hot tub or swimming pool is used, wearing tight clothes, and using an infected shaving blade. You need to see a gynecologist. I also suggest you get your fasting blood sugar checked and get yourself tested for HIV (human immunodeficiency virus)and other tests for STIs (sexually transmitted infections) if not tested before.
