Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 18 years old, and I do not know if the frenulum on my penis should have detached from the head by now. I am very worried and want to retract the foreskin fully when masturbating. I also have phimosis. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to ciliniq.com.

Phimosis means tight foreskin. In this condition, the foreskin may not be moving freely. There are two ways to treat it; one is medical, and the other is surgical. I will suggest medical treatment. First, pull down the foreskin as down as possible and apply Betamethasone cream on the inner side of the foreskin where it is tightly attached. Do it three times daily for the next two to three months. Betamethasone will help to loosen the skin. Also, do daily stretching exercises of the foreskin. Stretch the foreskin forward for 30 seconds and then stretch it downward for 30 seconds. Do it daily for five minutes.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
