Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am attaching my test results. Also, I am suffering from severe pain.

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query and understood your concern.

I went through your reports (the attachments removed to protect the patient's identity).

It seems like trochanteric bursitis. The degenerative hip disease does not cause so much amount of pain. It has to be something else. Also, your hip movements are not that painful. Hence, it could be trochanteric bursitis or pain coming from the spine. So, I suggest you follow the instructions mentioned below.

1. Send me a picture of the side of your left hip, where the pain is maximum. I want to see the skin condition in that area.

2. Take two tablets of dispersible Ketorolac (painkiller) immediately.

3. Take a capsule of Pregabalin (anticonvulsant) 75 milligrams twice daily.

4. Take a tablet of Tramadol (narcotic analgesic) 50 milligrams thrice daily.

Kindly consult a specialist, talk with them, and take medicines with their consent.

I hope this has helped you.

Thanks and regards.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thanks for your reply.

I do not feel like Tramadol is going to work. Can you suggest any other medicine for pain relief?

Please help.

Answered by Dr. Anuj Gupta

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Tramadol is an analgesic, but I am giving you 50 milligrams which is more than the usual dose. So, I feel it will help you.

Thanks and regards.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thanks for your reply.

I had developed a tolerance for Tramadol. I am very stressed.

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Do not worry about that. You can take Tylenol (Acetaminophen).

I hope this has helped you.

Thanks and regards.
