Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
What does this report mean? The report is of a 10-year-old child. Growth hormone 0.2 ng/ml children (0 to 16).
Kindly suggest.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have seen all the files attached by you (attachment removed to protect patient identity). All the reports are in the normal range except for TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone) values which are low.
That means the baby is hyperthyroid. It can happen in many conditions and needs a physical examination of the thyroid gland.
Kindly go to an endocrinologist for further treatment and he will put the baby on antithyroid drugs.
I hope you find this helpful.
Thankyou.
