Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I and my partner were having soft sex without penetration. In the process, we just rubbed our genitals against each other. Two to three days later, she has started feeling nauseous. She is complaining of pain in the breasts, pelvic pain and swelling in the vulva region. A pale white fluid has started discharging at regular intervals from the vagina. After some time, it was gelatinous. She is frequently complaining of abdominal cramps. I am worried whether she is pregnant.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

As there was no ejaculation, there is no chance of pregnancy. This could be because of hormonal changes or anxiety or physiological. There is nothing to worry about. So relax and do not worry. However, if you have a doubt, then get yourself checked by a gynecologist.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

She is also complaining of persistent weakness, and she is feeling very sleepy. Pelvic pain and abdominal cramps are continuous. She has started feeling morning sickness like nausea, mood swings, craving to eat spicy and sour things. Even today the vaginal discharge was seen with vulval swelling.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

The abdominal cramps, vaginal discharge, vulval swelling and pelvic pain could be because of some vaginal infection which is causing the problem. There is no chance of pregnancy; you can be sure about that. Try taking some painkillers and maintain personal hygiene. Take plenty of fluids and adequate rest. However, if you have a doubt then get yourself checked by a gynecologist and get a pelvic scan done to rule out the exact cause. Do get back to me with reports so that I can guide you further.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank u so much. But, I wonder why is she feeling nauseous in the morning. She is getting very sensitive to smell and is feeling very weak and sleepy. What can be the cause?

Answered by Dr. Neha Rathod

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

It is more of a psychological feeling than anything else. However, if you have a doubt then get a urine pregnancy test done with early morning urine sample to ensure that she is not pregnant.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

Let me explain to you from the beginning. She got her periods in this month beginning, and bleeding continued for four days. We got intimate without penetration (just bring our genitals in contact with each other on the four consecutive nights). On the fourth day morning, she felt nauseous, so we suspected this case of pregnancy when one of her friends pointed out the unusual glow on her face. The following day we noticed swelling in the vulva, vaginal discharge, abdominal cramps, lower backache, headache, weakness, and tiredness. She took unwanted 72 the same night. Before taking unwanted 72, all the things had started, so these were not the side effects of unwanted 72.

Next morning she again felt nauseous and morning sickness with pain in abdomen and all other symptoms altogether. So on the next day, we visited a gynecologist who said that there are 1 % chances of her being pregnant because one can get pregnant even without penetration if there is very close contact between penis and vagina and she advised that we will work this out in case you miss your periods. After this, she kept feeling morning sickness every day with vaginal discharge, cramps, vulval swelling and everything related. Now today afternoon, she had very light bleeding from the vagina. This was not the regular menstrual bleeding it was brown-red color and was just for a while and paused immediately. We are terrified, and we just want to know whether it is implantation bleeding.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I still say the same thing, there is nothing to worry about. These symptoms could be because of some indigestion, acidity or hormonal changes due to stress and strain. There is no chance of pregnancy as there was no ejaculation. Also, she has taken the emergency pill within 72 hours of intercourse, so there is no chance of pregnancy. The swelling in the vulva, vaginal discharge, and abdominal pain could be because of some vaginal infection which is causing the problem. The bleeding could be because of hormonal changes due to the pill you have taken. Trust me there is no chance of pregnancy.
