This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am around 26-year-old male having a urine infection for the last three years. My urine has a bad smell and is yellowish, especially in the morning. I have consulted many doctors, and the medicines only have effects for one or two months. So please suggest some best medicines. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

It is important to know the cause of the frequent urinary infection to treat it properly; otherwise, the infection will keep recurring. I would suggest the following

1. Urine routine examination and microscopic examination.

2. Blood sugar

3. USG (ultrasonography) of the whole abdomen.

4. Tablet Cefixime 200 mg twice daily for three days.

5. Drink lots of water.

6. Drink cranberry juice to recover faster.

Thank you.
