Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My daughter has been vomiting since morning. She threw up thrice. She also suffers from stomach ache and has not had a bowel movement since yesterday. She was perfectly fine the previous day. Please suggest some medication.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

If you have already been given tablet Cyclopam (Dicyclomine and Paracetamol) and vomiting medicine and if the vomiting has not stopped, you should consult a doctor. Mild intermittent pain from worm infestation can also be treated by giving Syrup Bandy Plus (Ivermectin and Albendazole) 10 ml once daily, preferably at night. Give Syrup Ondem (Ondansetron) 5 ml twice a day for vomiting. Food indigestion is another cause for which you must wait and watch. You can administer vomiting medication and keep the patient hydrated. Follow-up after that.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
