Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am masturbating from my sixth grade. So it is almost seven years now. My penis size has stopped growing, and the main problem of cause is my penis skin is dry, and some white thing is constantly tearing, and there are wrinkles on it. Also, there is a horizontal line below the head with cuts in it. Will it heal by itself, or is it a disease?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Unfortunately, the photo was a bit blurred, but I could see what you described (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity). It is most likely dermatitis, balanitis to be more specific. A dermatologist has to find out by what it is caused. That is usually done with a painless cotton-swab test and a "culture" in the lab. However, you should not irritate your penis further until you see a dermatologist. Therefore you should stop masturbation, especially when you want it to grow a bit more. There is a chance because you are not fully developed until 21 years to 25 years. Night falls are fine, and everything else is not. Get well soon.

The Probable causes

Investigations to be done

See a dermatologist as soon as possible. Swab test or culture.

Treatment plan

Stop masturbation.

Preventive measures

Wash your underwear at more than 70 degrees. Wash your hands after touching your penis.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
