How is Body Frame Size calculated?

Body Frame Size = Height in inches / Wrist size in inches

Follow these to know your accurate height and wrist size:

  • Height in inches: Stand with your back and heels touching a wall and ensure you are on a flat, non-carpeted surface. With the help of a ruler and a pencil, make a mark on the wall at your level height. Measure this height starting from the floor and you will get your height in inches.
  • Wrist in inches: A measuring tape is wrapped around your wrist around the fullest part to know the wrist size in inches.

Different Body Frame Sizes

  • If a male has a frame size of 10.4 and over and if a female has a frame size of 11 and over, they are said to have a Small Frame.
  • If a male has a frame size between 9.6 and 10.4 and if a female has a frame size between 10.1 and 11, they are said to have a Medium Frame.
  • If a male has a frame size below 9.6 and if a female has a frame size below 10.1, they are said to have a Large Frame.
