My ultrasound reports say 'bulky liver'. How can I get treated for that?

Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. I have read your query and can understand your concerns. Looking at your reports (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity), I see your SGOT (serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase) is elevated, and so are bilirubin and GGT (gamma-glutamyl transferase), while the albumin level is normal. It suggests that you have hepatitis. In your case, as you are overweight and perhaps you are an alcoholic, your liver is inflamed.

Must I take antibiotics for my loose motion treatment?

Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. I have read your query and can understand your concern. Metrogyl (Metronidazole) is an antiprotozoal, which does not cause relief in your case as it is not an antibiotic. Hydrate yourself with plenty of ORS (oral rehydration salts) powder and oral liquids.
