Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have a feeling of pain below my right chest and in the back (right shoulder). Sometimes the pain changes to different positions. Sometimes the pain is sharp at one point and mild at another. From yesterday I have this pain. I do not have a fever, cough, or mucus. I had a similar pain a month ago, and the doctor gave me medicines (Pantoprazole) for a gas problem. Currently, I am taking Azithromycin and Ivermectin. Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Based on your history, you have pain on the right side of your chest. Since you are young, it could be primarily acidity-related problems as your previous doctor might have felt the same thing and prescribed you the medicines for the gas problem. Your vital parameters are normal (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity). Get an ECG (electrocardiogram) done to rule out the cardiac-related issue. Please follow the following advice.

1. Avoid spicy and junk food.

2. Take frequent meals. Do not make your tummy cry for food, or else it will make you cry. Do not fast.

3. Avoid tea.

4. Do not sleep soon after having lunch or dinner.

Also, I suggest you,

  • Tablet Pantoprazole 40 mg daily in the morning half an hour before breakfast.
  • Tablet Unienzyme (Fungal Diastase 100 mg, Papain 60 mg, and Charcoal 75 mg) morning and evening for five days.
  • Tablet Dolokind Plus (Aceclofenac 100 mg and Paracetamol 325 mg) morning and evening for three days.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
