Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have lost my appetite due to a constant nauseous feeling. The nauseous feeling would be really strong after I would eat even a little. In the past week, I have not eaten much. My lower abdomen was painful and has a tightening, sharp sensation, which causes me to have chills. I am constantly tired. I have excruciating pain in my lower back, and the pain spreads to the upper back. Whenever I try to eat, it feels as though something is stuck in my chest, and the pain radiates to my back. My body feels weak, and walking causes me to feel sick and dizzy at times. Nausea has been relatively constant for around two months but was not as bad. Recently it has become worse, and my abdomen feels tight with sharp pains, my lower and upper back are very sore, and I have lost my appetite completely.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Your overall discomfort is not specific to any ailment, yet you have multiple symptoms of multiple minor issues. You appear to have a condition related to acid reflux. Let us start with some simple remedies:

Tablet Pantoprazole 40 mg (Protonix) one tablet once daily in the morning half an hour before food for seven days (gastro-resistant tablets).

Tablet Domperidone 10 mg (Motilium) one tablet thrice daily before breakfast, before lunch, before dinner for three days.

Capsule Saccharomyces Boulardi 250 mg (Probiotics) one capsule once daily in the afternoon after lunch.

Isapghula husks two spoons once in the night before sleeping for seven days.

Multivitamin supplements one tablet once daily for seven days.

You can buy any brand for the above medicines. Please revert after seven days of treatment.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
