Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have been suffering with acidity or acid reflux from the past one year. My scan report says fatty liver and I also have polyps in my gall bladder. Past few months I also seem to have had constipation and hemorrhoids.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I need few more details to help you better:

1. Have you got your cardiac evaluation done?

2. Are you getting relief on Razo (attachment removed to protect patient identity)?

3. Any thyroid or diabetes problems?

4. Any other medications you are taking?

5. Are you overweight?

Revert with the asked details for better help.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

My 2D echo is normal. I am on Telma 40 mg for BP from the past two years. Razo is not working right now. My hemorrhoids are hurting very badly. Thyroid and diabetes are normal.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

You seem to be suffering from acid peptic disease. I would advise you to take a combination of Pantoprazole and Domperidone and to take anti-flatulent and anti-acidity syrup like Digene or Gelusil for symptomatic relief. Do not consume any alcohol. Alcohol is totally prohibited even if you consume alcohol in less quantities, as even small amount of alcohol can precipitate acid reflux.

I would also advice you to avoid any pain killers and take soft and bland diet. Also, a good probiotic containing Lactobacillus also helps. Yogurt is a very good natural source of probiotics and helps in settling the stomach issues very well. Papaya cleans the bowels as it acts as a good laxative and helps in fighting with the constipation.

You can discuss with your doctor to give you any anti-hemorrhoidal cream like Annovate that you have to apply in anal area.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
