Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I got a small acne on my forehead 20 days back, which disappeared eight days later without any medication. After a few days, I got acne in the same place. I have tried home remedies but no use.

So, please help me regarding my concern.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through your query.

Acne occurs due to hormonal issues and oily skin. So, kindly follow the suggestions which I have mentioned, to get rid of acne.

  1. Do not use hair oil or any sticky cream on your face.
  2. Avoid oily food, chocolate, and milk products.
  3. Avoid dust, use sunscreen lotion or cream (above 30 SPF - sun protection factor).
  4. Do not rub any cream on face.
  5. Do not use any steroid creams.
  6. Continue treatment for atleast one month.
  7. Do not touch acne.
  8. Avoid pressing on acne with finger or any other object.
  9. For treatment purpose, use gel Clindamycin 1 % (Clindamycin phosphate topical gel) and gel Adapa-C 15 grams (Adapalene and Clindamycin phosphate gel). Apply gel Clindamycin all over the face in the morning time and gel Adapalene all over the face in the night time. These gels Clindamycin and Adapalene prevents and cures acne. Tab Doxy 100 milligram (doxycycline) once daily can be used for better treatment.

I hope this answer helps you.

    Thanks and regards.
