Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 18-year-old female, with no medical history. My last period was 15 days earlier, and I did take a pill as I had unprotected sex. I took a test that shows negative pregnancy. Does this state I am not pregnant?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

The length of the cycle minus 14, for example, If the cycle length is 30 days, the fertile period is 30 minus 14, that is the 16 days of your cycle. As per the history given by you, you are not in a fertile period.

For testing, you need to do

1. Urine pregnancy kit test.

2. Blood hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) test on day one. and after 24 hours. I hope this helps.

Thank you.
