Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have suffered from anxiety since childhood, but the symptoms have worsened. I get negative thoughts before bed and cry while imagining bad scenarios; this prevents me from sleeping, and since I do not get enough sleep, I cannot wake up during the day and go to college, etc. I cannot control the negative thoughts and can hardly sleep for 1 to 3 hours.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

I understand what you are going through is tough. Since you had similar symptoms before, you should start medications. Take tablet Panazep 12.5 mg, one tablet in the night for five days, followed by one tablet in the morning and one tablet in the night for the next ten days. Along with medications, you need therapy. Therapy will help you deal with your specific fears and help you cope with them. Also, try to maintain a balanced diet and regular sleep hours with regular exercises. Finally, please get checked yourself tested for thyroid levels. I want you to answer few questions. Does anyone in your family have a similar problem? Are these problems associated with your menses?

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
