Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Do I have healthy gums? I suffer from bad breath and the presence of a sticky film on my gums.
Kindly help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to iclinq.com.
I have gone through your query and the attached photograph (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity) and can understand your concern regarding dental health. Your gums are not healthy enough as they are inflamed and red. Because of the presence of sticky film (plaque), you are having bad breath. This is a very common condition and can be easily treated by cleaning the teeth. So consult your dentist for the same. Do brush twice a day. Use dental floss and gargle with mouthwash after every meal.
Hope this information is helpful and resolves your query.
Further queries are always welcome.
Wish you good health.
Thank you.
