Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have heavy bleeding during sex, but it is not painful at all, and the bleeding stops immediately after sex. It does not hurt while urinating, but I have a headache, and my lower back hurts every time.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern and will help you. I suggest you get a Papanicolaou (Pap) smear test to identify the underlying etiology. Your doctor might recommend a colposcopy if your Pap test result is abnormal. Colposcopy is a procedure in which your doctor will examine your vagina and cervix for abnormalities using a special instrument called a colposcope. For example, at your age, there might be a bleeding polyp or a non-healing vaginal tear.

Thank you.
